About Treendale Primary

Welcome to Treendale

Treendale Primary School was completed in December 2013 and opened in 2014. With five main teaching blocks, a library, administration and undercovered area, the buildings are well spaced and built using modern design concepts. Each teaching block has teacher collegiate rooms, a central common space ideal for cooking, art and small group work. All classrooms, including the undercovered area are fitted with modern 65 inch TVs all of which are connected to Apple TV. These screens in the junior classes, library and science rooms are interactive. Wet areas also have TVs making use of all learning spaces.

Modern technology is a feature of the school with all children having access to iPads and Apple Laptops. The devices provide the foundation for digital learning.

The enclosed and floor lined undercovered area provides an excellent space for assemblies and indoor Physical Education lessons. The Library houses a growing selection of fiction and non fiction texts suited for all ages. To provide a hands on and engaging science learning program, this purpose built classroom is designed for experimental learning guided by a skilled and highly knowledgeable teacher.

Modern, colourful and comfortable furniture is throughout the school.

Treendale Primary School is a large site with inviting landscaping and gardens. With three outdoor climbing playgrounds children have an abundance of opportunities to develop their gross motor skills. A full size oval, cricket nets and courts lined for tennis, netball and basketball ensure sporting games can be played all year round.
