Treendale Playgroup is a regular and relaxed meeting for groups of young children who haven’t yet started school and their parents or caregivers.
What happens at playgroup?
Playgroup sessions are generally a combination of free play and planned activities including:
- Indoor and outdoor play
- Arts and craft
- Music and movement
- Conversation and support
- Morning tea/refreshments
Why Playgroup is Important:
Provides an opportunity for children to play and learn.
Assists in language development and communication.
Provides a space for children to participate in and enjoy new activities. Provides a stimulated environment where children can acquire new skills and learn.
Playgroups are also important for parents as they provide support networks where parenting skills and tips can be shared in an informal environment.
Treendale Playgroup runs each week of the school term. We would love to see you join us. Check us out on Facebook or email email@example.com
